My daughter graduates as a teacher on Friday 23rd June which has oddly timed itself on the same day as Mr Leys funeral. She would not be graduating at all had Mr Leys not been a part of her life. 

He helped get her on the right path in year 9 and influenced her massively in her later years at Ramsey. Sadly she’ll never get to bump into him again in the village and tell him she reached the finish line.

Mr Leys lives on in his students and if she is half the teacher he was, she is going to be excellent at her job.
